My husband, when I first created this shirt, thought it was very silly and wondered why anyone would buy it. I said to him, “How could anyone resist this luscious and beautiful blueberry? It’s just so awesome!” And, mostly, I was agreeing with him. However, it’s actually one of my best sellers.
There’s just something about this great fruit that people can’t resist.
At lunch, I was playing around with some photos and Paint (because my work computer doesn’t have anything more sophisticated) and came up with this fun little card.

Decided to buy myself a present today with my Zazzle earnings. Since there’s free shipping today, I bought myself a calendar and an embroidered sweatshirt. I needed another sweatshirt and I just love this.
In these days of stress and uncertainty, you can be reasonably certain that grass will grow and flowers will bloom. So we say to you: Keep calm and garden on. The country needs your marigolds, pitcher plants and squash.

I’ve posted about my dog a couple of times here. Greta Splendens, née Dolce, was adopted from The Washington Animal Rescue League this summer. She is, we think, a bullmastiff mix, although no idea what the other half is as she really just looks like a mini mastiff, with a slightly less smooshed nose. She has been a joy and a half and even when she’s loudly protesting the presence of the garbage truck, I love that she’s in my life. I hope that if you’re looking for a dog, you consider looking past the hype and check out the thousands of bull breed dogs in shelters. Pitbulls, bulldogs, boxers and their mixes make fabulous pets.
